Divya Karnad is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies with a PhD in Geography from Rutgers University, USA, and a Masters in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from the Post Graduate Programme run by the National Centre for Biological Sciences and Centre for Wildlife Studies. She has consulted with the Bay of Bengal Programme Inter-Governmental Organization and founded InSeason Fish, a sustainable seafood initiative.
