Profile Summary

We are looking for a Graduate, preferably in Merchandise or a related field, with a strong understanding of fabric and vendor management, negotiations. Go to the local wholesale market (sadar bazzar, chandni chowk etc) and look for various samples from different vendors and researching for the various fabrics/décor items/ gifts required /production related requirements for the festivals. Coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with the team on festival merchandise. You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed records of available merchandise, including item codes, pricing, and stock levels. Experience in e-commerce platforms will be an added advantage.

Detailed Job Responsibilities.

  • Vendor Coordination & Sourcing: Identify and source festival merchandise from various vendors, collect samples, and oversee the billing and payment process.
  • Go to the local wholesale market (sadar bazzar, chandni chowk etc) and look for various samples from different vendors and researching for the various fabrics/décor items/ gifts required /production related requirements for the festivals
  • Negotiate rates with them for bulk orders and getting the samples and the order ready well in time. 
  • Coordinating with designers , vendors both local and exhibitors for different festivals
  • Look for and find new vendors for manufacturing merchandise items at best rates
  • Prepare excel sheet for all the stocks and keeping a track of the inhouse stock
  • Looking after Market Spaces (vendors management, documentation, accounts, payment during various festivals), Manage production of volunteer jackets and Tote Bags for Teamwork festivals
  • Look for unusual crafts and items for the festival merchandise
  • Source crafts, vendors and items - across India
  • Getting the various customised merchandise order made from the vendor as per the approved quantity and quality 
  • Coordinating for the purchase order and final billing with the vendor and sharing it with the accounts department
  • Coordinate with the vendors for timely delivery of the merchandise items, as per the approved quantity and quality
  • Maintain complete stock of the items , list wise and Track stock levels, coordinate restocking, and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent discrepancies.
  • Maintaining a log sheet and status update for various merchandise and samples available in stock and updating it from time to time
  • Responsible for the Merchandise stalls and the sales of the item during the onground festival
  • Contacting and coordinating with various artisan for their work and products
  • Execute the Vendor contracts and share with vendors sales and agreement 
  • Maintain books, accounts, etc for all festivals wherever we have market spaces
  • Should be comfortable working long hours as in some festivals you will have to work for larger hours
  • Manage product listings on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images.

Education Qualification 

  • A graduate degree in Merchandise or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in merchandise sourcing, vendor management, and e-commerce operations

Work Experience Required

  • A graduate degree in Merchandise or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in merchandise sourcing, vendor management, and e-commerce operations.
  • Should be good in writing emails and working on the excel sheets, billing and invoicing 
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and order fulfillment.
