Profile Summary
As the Lead Website, you will be responsible for leading the organization's website strategy and execution on a day to day basis. This includes overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of all company websites to ensure they align with business objectives and provide an exceptional user experience. Guide the team to Build a dynamic and responsive website, using a tech stack that includes PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Angular Js, Node and AJAX. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and IT, to ensure website initiatives meet brand guidelines, content strategy, and technical requirements
Detailed Job Responsibilities
- Oversee incremental UI/UX design, User Centric design and development of websites to ensure that they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimised for search engines.
- Responsible for continuously reinventing and improving corporate and other website platforms
- Continuously maintain a strong proposition that creates sustainable competitive advantage, creates customer engagement and superlative user experience that drives direct business benefits
- Develop a deep understanding of customer, identify gaps and help build right set of features and track adoption for the same
- Act as key authority and point of contact for website development and control
- Collect, analyse and report data and adjust development plans as needed to facilitate a successful new product rollout
- Represent the voice of the end user throughout the development process
- Manage and monitor a functional, bug-free, and secure corporate website by working closely with our development team.
- Work closely with the Digital team and understand their requirements and plan and execute the website revamp or updates.
- Monitoring and improving website page load speed, website traffic, and performance metrics, and analysing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage website upgrades, test to improve website performance, and troubleshoot website issues to prevent potential downtime.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the new web-based products —identify and understand target audiences, create preliminary design concepts, and drive implementation of the overall product roadmap
- Develop and design high-quality content pieces for the website
- Simplify technical information for internal team members and stakeholders while collaborating with them.
- Ensure budgets and vendor invoices are generated, approved and processed in time.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and technologies, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements as appropriate.
- Analytical skills to evaluate various customer and product innovations
- Good in data crunching to understand customer behavior and usage of the applications
- Brainstorm with the team on creative engagement ideas for digital media and work towards executing these.
Education Qualification & Key Skills require
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design, or related fields with Min 8 years of experience in web development, managing content management systems, UI/UX design, or a similar role; must have team lead experience
- Highly proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, Angular
- Great understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Task Manager
- Well-versed with Canva and similar design tools
