Teamwork Arts is a highly versatile production company with roots in the performing arts, social action and the corporate world. For over 30 years, Teamwork Arts has taken India to the world and brought the world to India, presenting the finest of Indian performers, writers, change makers and visual artistes in the knowledge and arts space in India and abroad. Every year, we produce over 33 festivals in 72 cities and 26 countries in the fields of performing & visual arts and literature. We produce the world's largest literary gathering: the annual Jaipur Literature Festival; JLF international now travels to the US, UK, and Europe.
Even amidst the upheaval and unsettling times of 2020 and through 2021, Teamwork Arts successfully launched the digital series, JLF Brave New World and Words Are Bridges, which were viewed by over 4.8 million people in their first season. Through its digital avatar, the Jaipur Literature Festival reached over 27 million viewers in January 2021. Art Matters empowers artistes across India to collaborate by commissioning them to create new works. The digital series Be Inspired was launched in 2021 – a series that crystal gazes into the future with conversations on science, technology, innovation, environment and more. Two on-ground editions of ‘Be Inspired - Festival of Ideas’ were held in 2023 and the first edition of Sikkim Arts & Literature Festival was launched in May 2023.

The role of the Sponsorship Manager will be to secure new Sponsorship alliances for existing festivals which has been largely untapped in the past. As part of the team you will be instrumental in establishing best practice in winning new business and creating consultative thought leadership sales packages for big ticket spenders. You will work closely with the Project Heads
Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the Project Heads
- Responsible for selling our festivals to prospective sponsors and alliance partners against agreed targets. Work on achieving & fulfilling the set targets by the HOD(Individual& Team targets)
- To contribute towards brand and product positioning and develop market strategies for getting sponsorship for our festivals
- Brainstorming with the production head & the festival team on the festival ideas and then accordingly make the festival pitching and presentation
- Responsible for Relationship building & key account management with the existing clients to get more business
- To understand thoroughly and establish appropriate channels/mediums of reaching the target audience keeping the budget in mind.
- Required to be networked into market to not only connect with prospective sponsors and marketing agencies but keep informed of the competitive environment
- Working towards delivering the set team target and individual targets for the year.
- Guiding the team towards achieving the team targets.
- Liaising with colleagues and team members , Festival Team & Design Team for the marketing collaterals & presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience of min 5 years in sponsorship acquisition or sales, with a track record of securing high-value sponsorships.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
- A solid understanding of marketing and branding principles.
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sponsorship acquisition.
